3 Year Old Class
3 year old class goals
ABCs: Be able to recite them
NUMBERS: Be able to count to 20 and identify 1-10 number by site.
NAMES: Write their names without assistance.
COLORS AND SHAPES: Identify all primary shapes and colors.
FINE MOTOR SKILLS: Coloring, cutting, gluing, etc.
PRE WRITING SKILLS: Kids start writing letters, numbers, name, etc.
4-5 Year Old Class
Goals for 4 & 5 year old class
COLOR AND SHAPES. Know all primary colors and shapes
NUMBERS 1-20. Count, Identify and write the numbers.
ABCs. Recite, identify and write. Learn the abc’s, sounds, and begin reading.
PHONICS. Site words and 3 & 4 letter words.
LANGUAGE SKILLS.

Creative Curriculum
A popular teaching approach among a variety of private preschools and Head Start programs, it was developed in the late 1980s by an academic (who later formed the company Teaching Strategies) and is based on current information on how children develop and learn. Emphasis is placed on 4 developmental areas; social/emotional, cognitive, physical and language. We observe children’s interactions with their learning environment to assess skills, interests and abilities and come up with activities or learning experiences that encourage social, emotional and new skill development.
